Announcing the BigLaw Layoff Tracker

While it’s an unfortunate sign of the times, we’re proud to announce the first of many planned data sources: the BigLaw Layoff Tracker.  Inspired by Tech Crunch’s Tech Industry Layoff Tracker, we’ve brought the iChart technology to BigLaw layoffs in our new BigLaw Layoff Tracker.  We’re still working on the technology, but we’ll be updating the data regularly and summarizing the changes each week.  Hopefully, things will at least be quiet through the rest of the year.  But if you do have any information, please send it in or post a comment.

Our thanks to Above the Law, the Wall Street Journal’s Law Blog, and ALM’s American Lawyer Layoff List.
