Mendelson (still) Pissed About Fees

Jason Mendelson has taken exception to the continuing escalation in lawyer fees. A number of his readers sent him to this law.com article, which highlights billing rates for partners at White & Case as high as $1,260. A number of other firms broke the millenial mark: Dorsey & Whitney ($1,180); Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney ($1,020); and Jenner & Block (an even $1,000). The rate I found most surprising (offensive?) goes to White & Case again: $920 for an associate.

Jason asks a good question: Is anyone else getting a 4.3% raise this year, like the average firm asked for?
