Valleywag has the romantic tale of Google exec Marissa Mayer’s recent Paris engagement. While the tech crowd is surely distressed that the young (33), attractive (see pic), loaded (as Googler #20, Marissa is said to be worth “hundreds of millions”), and smart (BS in Symbolic Systems, MS in Comp Sci from Stanford) is off the market, we of BigLaw can celebrate this amazing catch by one of our own.
Mayer’s betrothed is Wilson Sonsini alum Zack Bogue. Bogue (Harvard undergrad, Georgetown Law) currently splits his time between Virtual Law Partners, “a new kind of law firm,” and Montara Capital Partners, a real-estate private-equity fund he started.
We’re curious to see how long he keeps working once he’s officially in on the Google gazillions.
