Big Inhouse Contributors

by law shucks on January 2, 2009

oic bannerFurther to our previous report on BigLaw (and some attorneys we’ve never heard of) making large contributions to the Obama inauguration, we recently came across this Silicon Alley Insider article, which focuses on the Tech contributors.

While their focus was on large contributions from the high-tech sector, a few of the individuals on that list are of interest to us and our audience:

David Drummond, Chief Legal Officer, Google, $25,000
Brad Smith, General Counsel, Microsoft, $25,000
Laura Covington, Associate General Counsel, Yahoo, $10,000

We’re sure there are plenty of other BigLaw and inhouse counsel on the list.  Help us out in the comments or by email.
