According to Star Magazine, Barack Obama is an avid Brickbreaker player who has achieved a high score of about 15,000. Star claims sources indicate that Obama plays nightly to unwind. Silicon Alley Insider helpfully directs us to this guide, which claims scores in excess of 100,000 are achievable.
Given Blackberries’ ubiquity in BigLaw, I was curious what others’ high scores are. My current best is 20,630 and I keep getting stuck around level 22, if I recall correctly.

If he is an avid player but cannot surpass the 15,000-point mark, I am a bit disappointed in our Commander in Chief. As a fairly avid player myself, but someone far less talented than Obama in many ways, I have achieved scores upwards of 30,000. Looks like he needs to quit worrying about stimulus packages and auto bailouts and start focusing on what's important.

Brickbreaker is so lame – there are so many better apps for the berry. And is this really what we want our president to do to unwind? At least Bill had Monica.

My understanding of the game is that it is possible to flip it. After you flip it twice, the game returns to the original speed, meaning it is no more challenging that the first time you start the game. If your skills are that good, then you can just keep pumping up the points because the game isn't going to get any harder. Flipping the game a few times will take hours and hours, so it can't be done in anything close to one sitting. So the key is to only play the game when you have a chance to focus.
Frankly, I don't think it is that interesting. Also, I don't believe the rollarball is as easy to use as the side wheel, but the game is the same. So getting a good score on a modern blackberry with a rollarball "pearl" is going to be a lot harder than on the older machines.

15,000! Is that ALL? Jeebus, is he lame. If by flip, the commenter means finish all the levels and arrive back at the first level, a proficient player can do it in about 90 minutes. My best time is a few minutes under that. I refer to this feat as rolling the game, think odometer. On my last flight to New Delhi, India I rolled the game four times. My score has topped 200,000.
I always new that skinny flap-eared Chicago doofus was a dork, 15,000 at BrickBreaker just proves it.
