Having already burned through $66 million in expenses defending an antitrust suit brought by rival AMD, Intel is now suing for coverage on another $50 million. Intel claims that an affiliate of Zurich Financial Services is failing to honor its commitment.
Zurich, in turn, claims that Intel hasn’t provided requested information. Zurich is also seeking declaratory relief that it is not obligated to cover the expenses.
Howrey represents Intel on this suit, which seeks to pay bills for, among others, work the following firms performed in the antitrust suit: Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher; Perkins Coie; Bingham McCutchen; and Duane Morris.
