Wolf Block and Thompson Hine have instituted salary cuts rather than layoffs. [American Lawyer]

Simpson Thacher is extending its public interest fellowships from three months to one year in order to address lower-than-usual attrition.  [National Law Journal]

Hiring rates from top law schools have remained relatively steady – suggesting, not surprisingly, that cuts in incoming classes are from schools outside the Top 20.  [National Law Journal]
