Breaking: Firmwide Meeting at Locke Lord (UPDATED)

Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell is having a firmwide meeting at 3:00, Texas time (not sure how that translates to real, i.e., New York, time).  Prognosis is not good.

Going into the meeting, the firm has about 750 lawyers in 13 offices.  Unfortunately, we expect that number to be lower coming out.

[UPDATE: Our sources were good.  The news wasn't.  6% of lawyers (call it 45) plus 80-90 staff laid off, and start dates deferred.]
