When major law firms are facing malpractice claims, they’re increasingly turning to Zuckerman Spaeder, a 72-lawyer DC litigation boutique.
Recently, Mark Foster (Yale BA ‘65, Harvard JD ‘71)
- represented Mintz, Levin against a malpractice by an e-discovery company;
- won a second dismissal for Wiley Rein against of a malpractice suit by Blackwater; and
- picked up the Hogan & Hartson defense against a mouthguard manufacturer that claimed the firm represented a competitor.
Zuckerman Spader’s competition for legal-malpractice defense work are the usual BigLaw suspects: Crowell & Moring and Williams & Connolly.
