Quick Shucks – 4/30/09

quick-shucks

First, we have updates on two of our more-popular recent stories.

The B-school student who altered his law-school transcript after flunking out of medical school deserves worse than a three-year suspension, according to chief counsel for the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission.  He wants Loren Friedman disbarred.  [HT: AmLaw Daily]

We wrote about the shenanigans going on with the popular vote in the Time 100 Most Influential People List.  Time gave up and declared “moot,” founder of the 4chan.org site whence the hackers came, the winner.  He beat out the likes of Barack Obama, Vladimir Putin, and Oprah Winfrey.  Time helpfully offers the tidbit that “everyone moot beat out actually has a job.”  [HT: TechCrunch]
