First, we have updates on two of our more-popular recent stories.
The B-school student who altered his law-school transcript after flunking out of medical school deserves worse than a three-year suspension, according to chief counsel for the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission. He wants Loren Friedman disbarred. [HT: AmLaw Daily]
We wrote about the shenanigans going on with the popular vote in the Time 100 Most Influential People List. Time helpfully offers the tidbit that “everyone moot beat out actually has a job.” [HT: TechCrunch]
On to the regular Quick Shucks:
- Brian Fetterolf, a ‘96 BC Law grad, has joined the ranks of the Wall Street Journal’s “Laid off and Looking” blog. He’s been doing real-estate investment banking of late, though.
- “GCs Dislike Billable Hours System.” In other news, sun rises.
- You can now enjoy Black’s Law Dictionary on your iPhone. It would be more useful if it were on the Blackberry, though.
