It's the normal review year from July 1-June 30. They are aiming to get reviews back to us earlier than normal. September. It's usually mid-October. In most departments, there is a list of people each year the department expects to receive an overall Below-Class review once the reviews start rolling in. Usually, if someone does end getting such a rating, they get fired. This is true at Kirkland in the best economy. It will probably be true now. If it happens, it won't be a layoff. The only question is if people get false Below Class reviews this year and are fired in greater numbers. But there is no indication of that. There is no layoff list like that at Kirkland.
